Ontario NDP Smashes Q2 Fundraising Record, Raising Over $1 Million

TORONTO — Marit Stiles and the Ontario NDP have broken another fundraising record, raising over $1 million from more than 24,000 donations in the second quarter of 2026, the highest non-election second quarter in party history.

The Ontario NDP’s digital fundraising numbers also broke records, bringing in over $450,000 online. “This is one of the strongest fundraising quarters in our party’s history, and it shows the momentum building behind Marit Stiles and the Ontario NDP,” said Ali Chatur, Provincial Director of the Ontario NDP. “Our movement is powered by regular people -- workers, students, young people, families, and people across Ontario who are ready for a government that is actually on their side.”

“While Doug Ford and the Conservatives answer to insiders and well-connected donors, the Ontario NDP are building something different: a people-powered movement rooted in communities across this province,” said Chatur. “Whether it is online, at the doors in Scarborough Southwest or York-Simcoe, or through riding-level organizing across Ontario, people are stepping up to help defeat Doug Ford and elect a government that delivers change.”
